Agriculture
As one of Europe's most iconic rivers, the Rhine offers breathtaking scenery with vineyard-covered hillsides, medieval castles, and charming riverside villages. Cruising along the Rhine allows you to soak in the picturesque landscapes while learning about the region's rich history and cultural heritage.
We will be visiting a Dairy in the Edam region as well as a huge flower auction in Amsterdam which we have visited many times and is a fascinating insight into a branch of agriculture we rarely come across in the UK.
Weather
The weather should be warmer than the UK and bright, but it can be breezy on the water so bring layers
Currency
The Euro
We recommend you bring a few Euros in cash but there will be plenty cash machines and places accept card payments.

Strasbourg
Strasbourg sits right on the border of France and Germany, so you get a taste of both cultures. Start with a scenic tour through the beautiful Parc de l’Orangerie, past the European Parliament, and the lively Place de la République. Then, stroll through the enchanting 'La Petite France' district, straight out of a fairy tale. We'll enjoy wandering the quaint streets near the Cathédrale de Nôtre Dame, known for its famous astronomical clock.
Our Ship
The award-winning AmaSerena will be our home for 7 nights. All our cabins have floor to ceiling windows with a french balcony, so you can enjoy the ever-changing scenery however you wish. You can even upgrade your cabin if you would like more outdoor space.
More facilities include a fitness centre, sun deck & heated pool. Crisp tablecloths grace the tables in the Main Dining Room. With a stunning Main Lounge, tranquil library, massage and hair salon, and gift shop, you’ll never find a dull moment!
Thank you to all of the Bay Farm Tours team for a fantastic Rhine & Moselle River Cruise. We loved being with such great likeminded people. The trips before and after the cruise were excellent. It was so good we have booked another River Cruise with Bay Farm Tours for next year. We hope to see you there.
